WEBSITE DESIGNER (FULL Time - Salary Position)

Job Description/Responsibilities: CyberLynk is looking for a Website Developer to design and manage our website-based projects. Work will include maintenance of an existing web presence, design and rollout of an additional web presence, and other miscellaneous web site work as needed.

This position will also create marketing material that will be printed and used on our websites. CyberLynk maintains close to 100 websites. This position will also include providing website design and consultation services to our existing website hosting customer base.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of XHTML and CSS
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong experience with Adobe software products
  • Experience creating professional Web 2.0 websites
  • Knowledge of ASP, Cold Fusion, JavaScript, PHP and dHTML; experience with Macromedia Flash
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • A "can-do" positive attitude and the ability to get things done without supervision.
  • Active listener with the ability to work well in a team and to communicate in a clear way
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Thorough knowledge of web design and development

LINUX SYSTEMS ENGINEER I
(FULL Time - Salary Position)

Job Description/Responsibilities: CyberLynk is currently seeking a Linux Systems Engineer I to join our growing Engineering department. The Linux Systems Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • For Server Operations, support day-to-day operations of Deployment Systems and hosting services
  • Script the automation of regular tasks to help streamline operations and perform data collection
  • Work directly with customers via phone and trouble tickets to resolve hosting service related issues
  • Participate in the planning of future network services and development of applications/software to accomplish requirements
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation with peers
  • Work on technical projects, working with staff and vendors to gather requirements, scope technical efforts, determine solutions, setup project tasks/plans, and implement those solutions

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years as a Linux Systems Administrator
  • MUST Have experience with Apache, Litespeed, CentOS, Nagios, Cacti, DNS, hosted services, MySQL, R1soft, Wordpress, cPanel
  • Must be familiar with cPanel installation and configuration
  • Background in IT or in a Data Center team
  • System Monitoring and Automation
  • Good knowledge of network design - Working with Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers
  • Strong sense for security - both internally and on the hosting systems
  • Experience maintaining massive amounts of storage including backup systems
  • Advanced Linux System Administration, Configuration, and System Security
  • Advanced systems troubleshooting skills
  • Prefer some programming experience (particularly Perl, PHP, HTML, MySQL)
  • Prior experience in software as service architectures (SaaS)
  • Experience working with an On Demand company

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
(Entry Level/ Part Time/Full Time)

Job Description/Responsibilities: CyberLynk is seeking a support professional to handle direct one-to-one tier-I support via phone and email.  Support calls are logged into our ticketing mechanism or received by phone.  Support covers all area of CyberLynk's Internet related services.  Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.  Use your problem solving skills to gather information about the customers problem, research it within our knowledgebase or escalate the issue to engineering if it is a new, unknown issue.  You will administer a complex multi-point WAN/LAN and a diverse server base.

You may be asked to carry a pager on an emergency basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for full end-to-end support cycle for our products.
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Solid 3 months minimum previous technical support or help desk experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, 2003, Linux servers.
  • Knowledge of IIS 4/5/6.
  • Knowledge of FrontPage or Dreamweaver website design products.
  • A "can-do" positive attitude and the ability to get things done without supervision.
  • Strong Internet and web-based application experience including all Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint.
  • A self-motivated independent thinker who can work with a team of talented people.
  • 2+ year college degree.

Job Desirables (Preferred):
Knowledge and Experience with web scripting such as Javascript, Active Server Page (ASP), or PHP is a plus.  Knowledge of database applications is helpful.


SALES SPECIALIST (Entry to Mid-Level)

Job Description: CyberLynk is seeking a sales professional with direct business to business sales experience and a proven history of establishing relationships with key decision makers. This position will handle all aspects of the selling cycle from the initial contact through the closing and negotiation of contracts to after sales support. This person must have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to self manage. CyberLynk is looking for an outgoing, highly motivated, individual with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or lead generation goals.

Responsibilities: Manage direct sales relationships at CyberLynk including: Web hosting, design, Web based advertising, and all other services and products for the United States including International sales. This is an entry level position with incredible upward potential for the right person to prove themselves. An inside sales position which will offer a base plus attractive commission as well as bonus. The candidate must have previous experience with successful phone-only sales experience. This is a technical sales position and also requires a technical aptitude to discover the technical requirements of the customer as well as to explain the technical advantages of our product.

Job Requirements:

  • Direct sales of CyberLynk services including: Hosting, Design, Advertising, E-commerce and all related services.
  • Develop, market and manage prospect and client relationships in the highest professional manner.
  • Consistently meet or exceed unit sales goals.
  • Maintain a minimum of 200 telemarketing cold calls a week.
  • Effectively generate referrals from customers and other resources and maintain a customer database.
  • Responsible for own lead generation.
  • Responsible for full sales cycle.

CyberLynk has been in the business for 10 years and we are looking for representatives to sell our services across the country while earning 40-80% commission on every service they sell.
